Can Rentablez handle rentals with no fixed end date?
Yes. A monthly rental runs open-ended and invoices itself on the anchor date you set. When the device is finally collected, the final cycle is prorated to the collection date and a credit note is raised if one is due.
How are rental agreements handled?
Agreements are generated from your own templates and clauses with the patient, device, term and deposit filled in. The family signs on the technician's phone at delivery, verified by a one-time password, and the signed PDF with its audit trail is stored against the order.
Does each device have its own record?
Yes. Every unit is serialised with warranty and purchase documents, condition photos, movement history, sanitisation log and service record. If a fault or recall affects one serial, you can see exactly which customer has it.
Can I stop a device going out when it is due a service?
Yes. Maintenance jobs can be one-off or recurring. While a job is open the unit is blocked from allocation, so it cannot be sent to the next patient before the service or sanitisation is signed off.
What does the technician use at the patient's home?
The iOS and Android app carries the day's deliveries and collections with addresses and access notes. The technician records the installation, captures condition photos, has the family sign the agreement, and collects payment or the deposit at the door.
How are security deposits managed?
Deposits are tracked separately from rental charges against the customer, can be marked refundable or forfeitable, and are released or adjusted against damages when the device is returned.
Can we rent consumables as well as equipment?
Yes. Masks, tubing, filters and similar items are held as bulk stock and can be issued with a device or sold outright, appearing as their own lines on the invoice.
